I am Super excited for this summers Basketball season! I love watching international games, Players playing with passion to do their very best for their homeland.  Intense games and high quality basketball featuring some of the very best prospects from all over Europe – what more could an avid basketball fan and talent scout want to do all summer?

The summer season starts for me in May – first stop to Sunny Sweden.

nordic champs

On Wednesday 28th May the Nordic Championships starts.  The u16 and u18 National teams of  Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Iceland, Norway, and Sweden will compete for the title and great preparation for the European Championships.  Whilst I have already had the pleasure of watching Estonia, Finland and Sweden in the Baltic Sea Cup in Tallinn in January of this year I am very keen to see Iceland play for the first time ever.  The small nation have played in the European C division before but this summer they will feature in the u18 European B Division and I look forward to seeing the Hinriksdottir twins who dominated back in Cyprus 2012. I will head to Oradea first to see games on the 24th and then travel between venues as necessary to check on all the players based on the schedule after pool play up until the finals on 27th July.
